Whatever you think of King (I quite like him), we desperately need bodies up front. What we can’t deny is that our deadwood and the crimes of the Walsh/Koeman/Allardyce era continues to cripple us.

I hope he signs simply because we desperately need another body up front.

But signing someone with such a poor scoring record in the last hours of deadline day - what's going on? Surely it was obvious we needed support up front for a long time? Not asking for a world beater, but surely we can do better than this. Or maybe we can't?
