Jose Mourinho is boss

United are nowhere near challenging for the league never mind winning it.

He never realistically stood any chance against City anyway and perhaps this weeks scathing leaks on the quite mind blowing and carefully concealed financial misdeeds at City have given some credence to his claims that it just isn't an even playing field.

On the surface there seemed to be a rough parity between the two clubs spending, but now there's a huge question mark over that.

Mourinho has always claimed the FFP authorities” have “big and difficult work to do” and he has talked subsequently about the problems of trying to keep pace with a club he described as having “unlimited” spending power.

The Der Spiegel allegations this week are certainly perfectly timed from United’s perspective. They offer a chance to get under City’s skin but, if United lose on Sunday, and certainly if they lose big, Mourinho will also have a ready-made excuse. How can United expect to compete with a team accused of cheating the system?

It also impacts on the narrative going into the game. It is a lot harder to champion City as the new United when an asterisk is now being attached to their name by their accusers. Mourinho knows this. He also knows United are on a better footing than they have been for a good while.

Yeah OK Man Utd are skint compared to City. That must be why they offered Sanchez £0.5 million a week when it looked like he was going to City. LOL

My heart bleeds for Mour Excuses and his football club.

I didn't think for one minute you could plead poverty for one of the biggest brands in football which is just possibly why I wasn't stupid enough to do so.

What relevance your reply has, beats me

Well you quoted me saying Man Utd are nowhere near winning the league and then made excuses as to why they couldn't financially challenge Man City so I replied.

It's maybe an idea not to quote someone if you don't wish them to respond.

What a great analogy SD. Beautifully put!!
Wasn't Souness notoriously crap at Southampton?

Handed a contract and actually played some joker in a top flight Premier League match based off some prank phone call.

Doesn't matter how much he won in the game, how Souness has a job in the media lecturing others about how to manage a football team is a laughing stock.

Ali Dia! That was hilarious. I can't believe he fell for that, the tit.

Spot on Paul. Another gobshite stealing a living courtesy of the blinkered Sky TV.
Great avatar too my friend!
