Player Valuation: £1.5m
I havent been here for a while, I spat the dummy a little because it was re-affiliated with toffeegreb.

anyway.......

I didnt know there was an academy section, i just posted this elsewwhere, its better here i guess!

for those unfamiliar with jose....

Date of Birth: 7th February 1992.
Place of Birth: Bootle, Liverpool
Position: Centre Forward

This is a 15 year old lad who finished top scorer in the Milk Cup. According to the academy director Ray Hall he is a much better player than Rooney was at 14/15. He has broken Patrick Kluiverts youth goalscoring records at International youth level and has broken Rooney, Rush and Owens records at club youth level. Also has secured himself with sponsorship from Nike, at the age of only 15.

He is hyped as the best prospect in the North West and even England has been courted by Man Utd and Chelsea.

The 15 year old lad, has represented Everton u18s at the age of 14, England u17s at the age of 14 and is sure to follow in Wayne Rooneys footsteps by making an impact on the Everton scene.

Certainly one to watch out for, started this season well for Everton u18s too scoring 4 goals in 3 matches. Two against Newcastle United at the weekend.

i know rooney was an uber-tit n' all that.

but i wonder if he would have gone so quickly (stretford notwhithstanding) if we had been at least an established top6 side.
hopefully baxter, if he is so good, may wanna stick around and give us a chance.

Im hoping so. Being in Europe and it the top six can only help.

There was no need for what Rooney did but in fairness Im not arsed by him now, he hasnt developed into the player they hoped he would.

when the goals were scored.

Well don't see your arse about it will you. :)

I was just pointing out that Baxter didn't score twice at the weekend. The reason why I was interested in this section was so we could actually get some hard facts about the young players coming through and not hear'say.

I just pointed out that he hadn't actually scored at the weekend.

he signed for Everton because he'd have more chance of 'making it' rather than with his beloved Liverpool.let's not try and get too attached.

Hopefully the toffee bug will bite him soon, how can you be involved with our club and then not be an Evertonian..I don't understand it even Nigel Martyn writes columns about us now and he wasn't with us long.
