Yes he did last year, but I dunno if they would have announced the POY yet..... or if they would even tell the players this early.

My actual guess is he'll be on the bench//playing on Sunday, which would be brilliant for the lad. Deserves a game up there.

Think he deserves a chance again. Reserve player of the year last year, and playing quite well for the reserves all year again this year, think that would merit him a chance wouldn't it??

It's abit of a joke like, McFadden is average at best. Yet gets to play, isn't a game change at all.

I mean, Moyes gave Baxter his debut as a 16 year old. Only ever had something like 7 full appearances I think though.

He's probably got the same Exploding Knee Syndrome as Barkley so he won't be ready for the first team until he's 29

Doesnt his contract run out this summer?. Im sure it was in the paper during the week that Moyes wanted to send him out on loan for an whole season somehwere but how could they if he was out of contract?!. I'm sure they rate him and think he's got undoubted ability i'd heard but they wasnt sure he'd fullfill his potential or was a bit too light weight to make it in prem, or summat like that but if we kept him on he could do with a season out on loan cos it would do him the world of good IMO.

He could even turn out better than Ossie if he got his head down cos from what ive seen of him in reserve footy and bits in the first team, he's technically as good, if not better.
