Zonal marking is not something that should ever be done under any condition.

It’s compounded by having an undersized keeper whose weakest skill set is commanding his box.

That said an excellent shot stopper and best England keeper by a mile.

Shame on Moyes not playing to the strengths of our best player.

Should have done better for the Miley goal but was that Tarky AGAIN right on his toes? How many times this year is he going to concede a goal due to a deflection or being unsighted because of poor defensive positioning in front of him? 3 so far?

The thing is he's looked clueless from corners for a while now. I almost expect us to concede a goal every corner. I know he's never dominated his area but this is something more than that.

Tarkowski and Keane take their share of the blame, but Pickford has lost his nerve at these corners. He's panicking at them.

I think the first goal set the tone. It is one we can't be giving away to a good team and I think Pickford knew it. He has actually gotten much better at dealing with his area, but it was a matter of time before he was caught with his pants down again. We just have to avoid those as much as we can. This is a different game if they don't score in the 1st minute.

I'd go as far to say its his worst ever game for us, which I don't think is hyperbole given he was at fault either partially or significantly for all 4 goals, an absolute horror show. Not the sole reason we lost, admittedly.

Just hope he's got it all out his system in 1 game.

His worst game for us by a country mile in ages. Not seen one Evertonian comment to the contrary. So noticeable due to his stellar form for us the last three seasons.
Looking at all the jibes being resurrected again again and posted in such a haste makes me say again that the country doesn't deserve him.

Needs protection from set pieces as hes just not big enough to clear out defenders to win the ball.
