The agent of Anderlecht winger Jonathan Legear has confirmed English interest.

Legear was watched extensively last season by Newcastle United and Everton.

His agent, Christophe Henrotay, confirmed: "There are a number of English and Russian clubs who follow him."

Everton boss David Moyes, particularly, made several personal checks on Legear during the last campaign.

We did get linked to him alot last season but LCAB said he'd heard of no interest in the player. He is pretty decent though, right winger who can cross a ball and hit a mean free kick!.

All this tells us that he is on Moyes radar. Being on the radar doesn't mean Moyes is going to rush out and buy him - perhaps a "watch this space" type thing
