Got my bird out of bed to translate them...

Basically they are all quoting the same article in sportsweek and are all pretty much the same... the last link is from a feyenoord supporters website but again is quoting the sportsweek article.

He's got lots of potential, everton are interested but no-one knows how much they are going to bid. He did well in the olympics but not amazing and the dutch team were knocked out in the quater finals. England are his most likely destination as were the only league who buy players right up till the end of the window.

As there's only one paper reporting this its hard to take too seriously, and we definately haven't put a bid in... just considering it by the looks of things (the everton way dont ya just love it!). Would take a good bid to get him as he's very highly rated, however Feyenoord will sell him for the right price.

Thats about all the info.

I'll get her to translate more links if anyone posts them, but i'll wait till 2moro as she'll not be too impressed if I make her get out of bed again lol! (y)

Cheers AA. Looking at the you tube clips, I am liking the way he gets in between the goal and the defender to poke the ball in the net. Could him and Cahill play together or would that be asking too much having 2 AM's in the side.

Think de Guzman is a great prospect, but don't know if he's ready for the Premiership yet. Also the link is not the most reliable in Holland. I'll keep an eye out for www.vi.nl, as they are by far the most trustworthy footballsite in Holland. Nothing on there however.

Attacking midfielder, who can also play on the wing. Good technique and dribbling, eye for a goal and a very good free kick. Think he'll be with the full Dutch squad in the not to dintant future, maybe allready in South Afrika.

Sounds good. Could he play centre midfield in England or would he be shifted to the wings ala Arteta and Pienaar.

Think he's most effective in the centre. Plays there for Feyenoord most of the time. Think he's also able to play the role of Cahill in a 4--5-1. But as said, I don't know if he's quite ready for the Premiership as of yet. Definately great prospect though.

This is the type of signing I like, young players who have potential but still need developing. I'm sure he'd do well if he came.

Any ideas what his price would be?

Feyenoord will be reluctant to sell him, but the player himself has always indicated he'd like to move if the situation arised to improve. Also feyenoord is in a financial mess, so I think an offer of 6-8m GBP could do the trick. Just guessing though.

Saw him play for the national team in a pre season friendly against Brazil and he was the best player on the park. I don't mind an unfinished product if they're young and he seems to fit the bill.

Correction. I saw his older brother Julien playing for Canada. Don't know much about Jonathan.
