Joleon-Lescott

I can't bring myself to hate him anymore... considering what an absolute mugging we did to Man City in getting £24m for a player not as good as Jagielka!

£24m... still makes me laugh ^^

After watching Johnny H's pathetic routine and Billy's backside fusing with the vinyl bench I'm no longer laughing. Maybe we should have just signed 6, 3M players instead.

I have him back in a flash if he came clean with the supporters about how he left.

My issue is where do you put him right now? You drop Distin? Really?

If Peanut goes, I'd move Baines up to LW and make Lescott LB. I always thought he was a better LB than CB. Nobody got past him on the left side. He'd use his strength and the sideline to rub everyone out. Plus though he looked a clumsy going forward he was pretty effective at it and alot better at it than he gets credit for.

Plus Baines has the skill set to learn LW and be a very effective one.

I'd also start Lescott when in shape over Jags or Distin too. Probably doesn't defend in the center as good as either of them but our big pressing need is goals now.

I'd take him as coverage, but I don't think he'd walk into a starting role with us. I'd take Distin over him right now. Don't see him coming back to sit the bench though. Too proud for that...

I miss his goals and the chemistry he had with the team, but sadly the chemistry is well gone (not playing together and him turning his back on them) and due to his lack of PT, I don't think he's ready to score in bunches again.

T W A T ! Grass Is Never Greener.....Warp 10 Mr Worf

2 things

1. I already posted this yestarday
2. No need at all for the Worf image, thats disgraceful.

after the way he behaved, i'd take him back if he publicly apologised for being a snide, but to be fair to dustbin, he's been alreet recently, pretty damned good today against th champs in their own back yard so not in a rush to have him back. WOuld pay more than £5m for Joley boy though. Here's hoping he rots away at fulham with sparky before signing for and seeing out his career at grimsby

Wouldn't take him back if he grovelled outside Goodison. Cast in the same boat as R**ney and G*sling. Good riddance to greedy gets.

Zero chance of him being for sale at this stage or for City to sell him to us on the cheap, or us being able to afford him, or afford his wages or for Moyes wanting him back or any true fan ever wanting to see him here again.

total non issue.
