I'm not saying he wouldn't think about it, and he may want to move, but I don't think he's gonna force the issue and make the situation a bit sticky with it being a WC year and him knowing that Moyes won't sell him

Yet again, we keep our fans guessing. "Blaah, let them boil for a bit, we'll tell them if he really has asked to speak to City sometime in December".

I don't think Moyes will hold this "he's going nowhere" act up, he eventually cracked with Johnson. He'll crack with Lescott.

We're waiting for;

£30m
£22m + Jo
£18m + Jo + Onuoha

Until then, Moyes will dig his heels in.

Can't you down size the pic, his forehead's in me face.

£22 will benefit us more, Goat.

I can't help the fact that he has a big forehead :(

Go on then Azz, like I said before, after £1.7m minimum taken off for Wolves, a few mill off to cover debts, at least £5m imo, find two players equal to or better than Lescott at CB and LB and then use any remaining money to improve the side.

And if you say Distin I will request a license to kill.

He got offered a price for AJ that he thought he could use, we had striking cover, I know it didnt work out as planned, but oh well, he took a gamble, if Yak hadnt have got crocked it would have been perfect, you dont imagine to lose your 1st choice striker for 6months, thats just very, very bad luck.

With Lescott he covers 2 postions and hes a better player than AJ, so thus must be reflected in a price that Moyes sees fit. He wants £30m, he would maybe take £25m+, who knows.

If Lescott moves, Moyes will get the full cash, after Wolves take their slice, no way would Kenwrong take any of Moyes money, no way on Earth, so as Screech says, spend the £20m Azz.

You need a CB, LB and then you need to improve the squad, go, go.

He is not worth any of them, Moyes knows it and he's being stubborn.

Stubbornness, which really wont end beneficially for us.

Am not so sure. If we sold him for the £20/22m to a Premiership rival - would we be able to improve?

We would need another quality centre back, left back cover and enough left over to bring in someone else who would significantly improve the side, so Defour/Moutinho calibre, otherwise it isn't worth it is it? - why unsettle a side and assist a Premiership rival unless your sure you could improve the side?

Am not sure we could improve with anything less than £30m.

I initially thought the same as you but if you think about it, Lescott is a young, English International centre back. It would be ridiculous to accept a lower £20m bid, especially when you consider the climate at the moment. We have just seen two English defenders who have hardly kicked a ball going for £5m each, Walker with 2 games to his name in the Championship, Naughton with just a season of football under his belt.

Then consider the likes of Bassong - £8/10m for a player who has only played a season at the back for a team who were relegated. Delph, £8m...

The list is endless. I would be pig sick if we sold Lescott for anything under £25m.
