John Stones

He's overrated and he's a disrespectful little git. £50m is utterly absurd. Mind you £50m isn't going to be a big help to us, because I'm not sure what defender we can actually spend it on who will significantly improve us.

We will have to buy 2 Cb with stones money as jags is getting older and injured which leaves only Mori.

Is browning ready to step up?

I have no stated opinión that we are bending over for City. I simply want an excellent player to stay, because I quite like watching talent and technique in our first team, and even more so if its a young talent. The business sense doesnt matter to me as much as it seems to matter to other fans. I dont know Stones, but if Koeman is going to make us more solid, I would imagine that even if Stones doesnt get the move he wants that he would excel under the new boss. He doesn't seem the un profesional type to me at all.

Always difficult to know what is going on behind the scenes but Stones' form did dip last season... he often overplayed and caused goals... was that down to poor coaching, was it down to his own ego or was his head elsewhere?

He's a bell.

I don't care if he goes as long as we get a massive fee. Hopefully United come in as well and it goes to £75million.

What's important is EVERTON.

An Everton squad ready to win things.
They already have English players, and several English defenders, they aren't interested in Stones. They will spend half that on a better foreign defender like Mustafi, Miranda, or Manolas.

We can find defenders who will do a job, what did stones do for over the two seasons. His turns and gliding up the pitch with the ball is pretty to watch. But we could get a defender who will help us be more aggressive, defend king balls and also defend set pieces and head the ball. Stones will be class but he hasn't been for us so we won't Miss this just that we won't see him grow as a player

Better position these days to get over the loss of losing a player like Stones, so I'm not overly concerned and even less so as he is defender.

Won't selling him enable us to be more robust in these financial transfer rules?

It'll enable us to pay higher wages as our revenue has increased - I think that's the basic principle yes.

That happened once... vs Swansea when it ended up with Howard conceding the penalty.

Some of our young defenders will likely be happy with this - get the favourite out of the way and give a chance to blokes who want to play for the shirt they wear.

If two years down the line Holgate, Galloway or Pennington are in a similar situation mate don't you think they'd be off too (unless we're in the CL of course)
