John Stones

I agree mate but you do see other players who heap a bit of praise on there fellow employers, consideringit was us who gave him.his chance in the big time. Itd go a long way.

But like you said I hold no grudges, I really liked him and wish him all the best

Yeh, would've been nice though I suppose from our perspective - let's say we do sign this Kone from Sunderland - would we be happy if he spent 2 mins of his interview talking about how he's so glad Sunderland gave him the chance in England etc.

Knowing how riled certain posters on here get over well, us either spending no money, or spending too much, then I wouldn't like to find out!

He hasn't dave, just talks about us as being lucky to have him. Stones wanted to go, git rebuffed and got on with it.

I hold no grudges whatsoever

fortunately, Raiola was seemingly impressed by Moshiri when he met him and the other director (the Russian) - hence the statement from him a few weeks back.

Rom's dad has been told to pipe down and, seemingly, the player himself as well.

We're taking a tough stance and rightly so - we don't need to sell.

Not against Rom in any way. I love the big lad, and he's boss at togger so that helps

In all honesty it wouldn't arse me one bit, but others would probably have some conspiracy theory going and want to burn the Internet down.

I think it shows a sign of respect, which seems to have been lost in the modern game

I dont either. If I rated him as a defender I defo would...but I dont.

I think I'd like to hear a few words from him to the effect that he does owe Everton. It's etiquette.

We should be thankful that John Stones graced our tiny club mate lollollol

You would expect players to show more gratitude to previous clubs when they move, but maybe there was a bit of an issue behind the scenes (our statement seemed quite blunt about it too).

I love Rom myself, he's ace. But I'll reserve my judgement until the window is closed on this meeting; as far as him and his agent are concerned I wouldn't trust them.as far as I can throw them. I hope the rumours are true like, but trust that bell of an agent, not a chance

That's precisely it Deco.

The lad barely caused a ripple in the history of this club.

Thanks for £47M (£39M after Barmsley have got their tight arse Yorkshire mits on it) and adios.

He can go where he wants. His career. But the fact stands that he was given a massive canvas to work on and become a so called star player by getting that at Everton. What other club would have given him that scope to get loads of PL game time and find his feet and bring him through to international football status?

He owes us big time.

He would've walked into most PL teams mate, good scouting got him and we have benefited and I'm happy to say Barnsley have as well, that is how it should work. City have taken a gamble based on the last 12 months, it's business, not football and the sooner you realise that the better.

Yep, arguably the weakest defender in our back 4. Lovely footballer mind.

I know it's business mate. There's just a right way and wrong way of conducting it.

I do think he'll become a truly class player, but for the money we've received and considering he was a big part of our worst defence in the history of the club, I'm sure our fans aren't too heartbroken.

A real luxury player when we need a more old school beast at the back like Kone.
