It's a bit of a random signing considering Coleman is looking better and better with each game at RB.

And bear in mind he left Baines on the bench for the best part of 12 months before he staked a serious claim for LB. Not a priority at all if a tilt at the CL was the objective.

So once he signs will Moyes loan him out to League 1 for 2 years then the Championship for 3 years to get him Everton fit?

11 months afterwards is not long now?

one for the future to me means he'll be in the reserves for a good 2-3 years before being introduced into the starting 11, 11 months is nothing considering it will probably be that before Oviedo gets a good run out and not the odd occasion.

he'll be another Mustafi etc.

Maybe.

I don't think so, myself. The fee is more like what we paid for Gosling or Gueye and they both got game time.

We got Mustafi when he was 16. Stones is 18 and a hot prospect. Not comparable.

Moyesy did say in the past few days that he may look to bring a RB in due to the injuries to Coleman and Hibbo, said we was short there!.

Be a good signing IMO, big lad, only 18/19, can play RB & CB. Would cover 2 positions and he's a talent and the kind of player we should be bringing in to build up the squad!.
