Possible Baines wasn't that good before Moyes got him, Moyes pretty much built his team around Baines and Pienaar, I reckon he knew what he was doing with tbh.

Under Moyes he went from quality to genuinely one of the best LB's in Europe.. Using Baines as a negative against Moyes is like slating his spending or transfer market ability imo.

Moyes was slow to bring baines in to the team, he was very often slow to make tactical and team selection changes that were pretty much obvious to everyone, like stubbs being finished that season

Stubbs was finished before he came to us.....he was always crap.
