"We are very quick to judge in this country as to what we consider to be diving," the ex-England international told HuffPost UK Sport. "You go to Argentina, Spain or Italy, diving isn't a major issue but because of the way we are in Britain, that we believe we are the moral policemen of the world, we judge people on our own morals

"But that [the diving]'s not an issue, not an issue whatsoever. I don't think necessarily that Suárez does dive. The way he plays, he's always going to go over. Some of the runs he makes or tries are absolutely ridiculous and I think a lot of it has to do with him losing his footing.

"Yes, there are times when he looks to gain an advantage because that's the culture he was brought up on but that's not wrong, it's the way he is. He probably has made a conscious effort because of what we expect from him."

John Barnes typifies the kopite mentality.............he wants to be their hero and occasionaly comes out with crap like this to play to the masses...... he's a pitiful man who is fooling himself into believing they respect him.

I love the way he defends him by saying "Well they do it it in Spain and Italy"

Hes a fat **** who failed at every job given to him since he quit football and now has to spout ****e like this every few months to keep the Kopites on side

I also see a few articles today are saying Suarez should win PFA player of the year

Football wise I wouldn't have a problem with that,he is tremendously gifted,if he stuck to playing football,fine,however morally he cannot even come into consideration,he is vermin,pure and simple.
 
Barnes must be in fear for his life on a daily basis with those psychotics.

Constantly treading on eggshells.

They are without doubt the sickest fans in world sport.
 
What does John Barnes know about morals after cheating on his wife so often he lost her and his children?
 

TBH of all the ex-kopite media pundits only Barnes could form an argument attacking the post-imperialist consensus of common global standards of human rights and apply it to Suarez.
