Saw this and got excited about the thought of a Clash movie (one of my top 5 favorite bands of all time). Interesting angle that it's about the making of "London Calling" and not a biopic on the history of the band. I like the fact that it will be narrowly focused on one of the great records of all time.

I read the Clash biography "The Clash: Return of the Last Gang in Town" and this part of Clash history has the potential to be really good.

My first rock show was October 1979...but I'm a little embarrassed to say who it was (considering how my music tastes evolved. KISS. Keep in mind I was a little nipper of 11 then though :)
