Still remember the Dogs of War. What a great surprise it was to be in front of the tv watching us thrashing the all mighty Utd.

Southall looked like the GK he once was, saving our arses on a couple of occasions.

And then, on the bench there he was, Mr Joe Royle.

For some reason I thought we'd be coming to top again. An evertonian at the helm and we had just won the FA Cup. Almost a fairy tale.

Next season, we got 6th place in the EPL, and I thought we're getting closer...we really are.

Then Kanchelskis goes, the season doesn't go so well....But we had signed Speed and Barmby and we started to look like we would come out of the season with the ability to progress the next season... Royle left over the failure on the signing of Tore Andre Flo. What a signing he would be at that time.

I was left feeling that we had just kicked our messiah in his rear side.

In all these years, after Mike Walker (what a mistery to me he couldn't get the job done after all the success for Norwich) he was the man.

I still think that we would have gone far with him on the helm.

Just as I do right now with Moyes. We just took a bump but we're building something with the kids that will pay off in the forthcoming seasons.

The thing is, according to modern day media rules, winning the FA Cup and being English means that you're suddenly a great manager.

See: Redknapp, Harry.

He's got some jowls hasnt he.

Is it just me or does any1 else think hes a total tit? Redknapp i mean, not chico.

My god. New born baby in the house and Dylan takes time off from gaga googooing to take a quick swipe at Chico.:P
Mind you he was asking for it there, although to be fair he beat you to it:D

Peter Johnson. Remember him ?

The only good thing about Peter Johnson is my Mum works for him and has known him for over 30 years. So the Cup Final in 95 he got me my tickets and he would always tell her any news and any signings we was gonna make, although he kept his mouth shut about selling Dunc. :@

Edit, also i used to work in his hamper sweatshop and 1 day he came into the factory, i had my Everton top on and a lad near me had a RS top on, as he walked over i said to him, " You should sack all the kopite scum or at least get them killed", he just laughed and walked away, i didnt know he was a RS then. :(
