I'm not convinced he would no. He spent £9m on Billy, £6m on Heitinga, £5.5m on Distin, god knows what he's paying Saha, and I know Arteta's on a pretty penny, even though Pienaar is much more effective.

Yeah he's great with Cahill and Lescott, Jags was a good signing, and he's had value for money with Arteta (initially) and Pienaar, but Felly hasn't been worth £15m.

But it's not about the spending for me, it's about working with what he has.

I will give you Billy, I havent given up on him just yet, but lets face it, he looks mostly dogwank, still time............ Heitinga is still a good player, hes just an ego tripping arsewipe, wasnt big money and he will get what we paid when he fcks off, the sooner the better..... Distin has been awesome lately, im not his biggest fan at all, but hes been amazing...... Saha is utter crap.

Do you not think we will recoup our money with Heitinga mate? Bily, conceded. Distin, he was left into buying him in a rush because of Lescott's forced exit, he is probably our best centre half this season.

Far outweighed by the amount of really bargains he's picked up and trained into quality players. Any new guy would need to have this, and its a hard skill to master.

Time will tell with Fellaini, but I can't see us making a loss on him to be honest mate.

Oh I missed Fellaini out, last Season at times he made that £15m look like a bargain, when he gets a long run in the side he will again, the boy got talent and we would easy get back what we paid anytime we want.

Hetinga is a good player, hes just saving himself from injury in time for his move in Jan.

He's a boy with an attitude. Looks like he's still in a strop because Howard Webb sent him off. He needs to grow up.

thats it though all the players he gets cheap turn out ace! but all the players he pays proper money for either turn out crap or average! non of his big money signings have had stand out season on a concistacey level!

so mybe if he did have villa tottenham money he would struggle!
