yep he never gets backed moyes!

it would have been great to see him break our transfer record say about 4 years on the bounce! that would have been ace that!

approaching 9 years of nothing.

thanks for the memories mr.moyes.

the football we have played under you has been breathe-taking.

Ooh, good shout. Love the facts here. But Chico will come back with something to counter act your opinion.

When I was in the pub trade I knew a retired bank manager - a good Blue, season ticket holder - who knew Joe through him holding his account and apparently Joe would ring him after almost every game - this was when Joe was at Oldham - to talk about how they'd played and such like. Apparently he'd often finish with "I see the [Poor language removed] cross the park won too..."

Top man. Very large face, though.

Lescott, good example. Johnson and McFadden we made a profit on, another good example. Beattie, I think we took a slight loss, lucky escape that. Rooney is a different kettle of fish.

Well Lescott had a highly inflated transfer fee because of who he was going to, so you can't really put that down to Moyes turning him into a world class player. The season before he left was probably his worse in an Everton shirt.

Point is we don't have marketing skills to bring in cash like Man U do, we don't have massive injections of cash. We sell to buy, it's just a different business model.

But Kenwright got the best deal for Lescott, so for me that was backing the manager, in a way.

To be honest, sick of both of them and they can both **** off. Moyes without money is ok, Moyes with money is not ok as he seems to squander it often. So even if we did have oodles of cash to spend, would Moyes be able to spend it wisely? Not got form there.

So turning a Championship player into an England player and then more or less quadrupling his fee isn't a success of Moyes? Come on mate, the facts state otherwise.

Do Sunderland have to sell to buy? What about Villa? Or Tottenham? Would you consider us similar clubs in terms of stature?

Ok, so i'll admit he did a good job with Lescott. Moyes in.

Want more than just that though mate.

Sunderland do sell to buy, all clubs do apart from City and Chelsea.

Same boat as us.

Leaner says he is reducing the wage baget and until he does he aint spending big money.

Compare their net spend over the last few seasons and see how it measures up against ours. Do you think Moyes could do better with them resources?
