I got told this on Saturday Dario, it's true mate.

And Joe Parkinson is now Assistant Manager at Bury, so is unlikely to be seen much if at all in the lounges for the remainder of this season.

...he’s a gentleman is Joe. There might be differences of opinion regarding the new manager and he backed Unsworth. Sounds like a power struggle is taking place, Royle’s gripe is probably more with factions on the Board than it is with Allardyce.

..I did think it quite alarming when Royle came down from the stand to talk with Unsworth at the Southampton game. I thought it undermined Unsworth even though it was certainly a genuine attempt to help the situation. There might be more going on behind the scenes than we think and others might follow him out of the door.

I find this very distasteful if Joe Royle has felt the need to resign due this new management team being put in place.
Cant see what is amicable in all this either.
Big Joe is worth 10 of each of these new regime.
Really sad its come to this...nice one Everton.

Be all and end of it is that Joe is probably quite happy in retirement. Theres not always a mountain when you see a mole hill. Joe will still be at the game if he chooses to be there. Good servant Mr. Royle. Anyone else there at Blackpool when there was a riot,almost, because he got picked instead of the Golden Vision?

Very sad if true. Don’t think joe had a great relationship with Koeman, so I’m really surprised he’s taken this decision now he’s left. Whatever the reason, good luck joe in the future whatever path you choose to take.
