That's probably how Leeds fans felt after signing the likes of Seth Johnson for £7m.
Maybe.

I have just read that Hart's fee is £40 mill plus £200,000 a week wages. I know papers like to sensationalise but that is ridiculous.
Maybe half that and even then it is a risk.
Because I don't rate him! What's baffling about that?
He's Tim Howard mkII - gets himself too wound up for matches then goes and drops blunders.

Unlike Captain 'Murica though, Hart is well capable of producing ridiculous match-winning saves and having blinding games where he's unbeatable. He'd save us more points than he'd lose, without a doubt

If what I outlined happens then we'll have our biggest spend ever with a far stronger team, a better manager and held onto Lu against all the odds. A fantastic result compared to where we'd have been without Moshiri and plenty to build on for the future.See your point. Have to see it to believe it.
Maybe I'm being too optimistic but I can't see the point of Moshiri coming here just to keep Everton running as it has been and not changing things up. He could of just stayed at Arsenal otherwise and got a better return on investment that was far safer. Also find it strange for Koeman and Walsh to leave where they were to come here, surely something is going on other than the fact they are getting more money (which coincidentally is a sign we have money available).
I could be completely misreading things but will live in hope for the next few days of the window at least.
We don't have to choose between Howard and Hart though, there are other goalkeepers available who don't have massive flaws in their game.
Is there, like who?
What, you want a list of professional goalkeepers?

I just don't see any evidence there's going to be heavy investment if that means a huge spending spree in the next 2 weeks. It seems to me the budget has been exaggerated to help land RK and create a buzz. Enquiries / bids for players like Draxler are part of that spin imo.
That's an MAlex Manninger
