JB's suspension (and ultimately, his sacking) is for hiring a prostitute in Slovenia, which NB obviously deemed unacceptable. After the flight back JB travelled to London to see mates and stayed there for a couple of nights before returning to Hull completely smashed.

Yeah I really wouldn't go that far.

In his prime he was a nifty player, but one dogged by injuries.

He's a Gascoigne, Balotelli, Barton type really. Great fun to read about but would drive you mad if he was actually at your club and getting pissed the night before important relegation crunch games.

He's hardly a model professional, though. Threatening to go on strike, fighting with his team mates at both Fulham and Hull, turning up to matches and training drunk or hungover, missing flights, hiring prostitutes etc. I know Hull fans were massively pissed off at how little he seemed to take the relegation battle they were fighting seriously.

Like I said he's entertaining, he comes over as sound, he'd probably be great company for a night out but you wouldn't want him at your club even when he was good.
