I dont rate Bolasie, no. He can win me over though. I dont have a closed mind on him. Gueye does what he does very well. If he keeps it up that's fine by me. But he's a ratter. In no way can players like that offer the entertainment value of a Barkley or Deulofeu. You'd have to be a Leeds supporter to think so.

I think the problem is, as you demonstrated during the Martinez years, you wanted to be entertained rather than win. Great if you can do both, but as Martinez showed if you don't master the unfashionable dirty basics then you don't win anything no matter how many entertainers you have.

You did bring back a find memetic for me though. #theentertainers

Nothing else to get all twisted over.
Winning games, promise of new stadium, new gaffer settling in well and the players looking like a team once more. Bedwetters is what bedwetters does.

Theres plenty to get twisted over.

The 2 men and his cat upgrading Goodison
The actual lack of any stadium news bar a few tweets from an MP

But Ronny has made everything ok in the world.

You can't have a team of Barkleys and Deulofeus though. For me, a class act like Barry or, increasingly, Gueye are just as entertaining as the stepovers and pace.

I'd have thought you'd have that view too given your criticism of Stones - sometimes, just being really good at what you're in the team to do is eye catching, regardless of role. That's why Neville Southall is an Everton legend after all.
Stones was a defender who couldn't defend. I expect nothing more than a battling performance out of any defender. Anything besides that is a welcome bonus.

Gueye does his job well at the moment. Good luck to him. But creative players provide entertainment for me not destroyers.

I destroy ya mar and it provides me entertainment.

WOT WOT WOT?

If he went up for sale tomorrow there'd be queue of top CL clubs looking to pay £50M for him.

How does an Evertonian run down one of the only truly talented players we have?

Barkley and Deulofeu are light years ahead of the rest of that squad in terms of the technique they have, but some seem prefer to throw praise at a headless chicken and a huff and puff midfielder who'll run and run all match.

It speaks volumes in terms of the basic outlook that people have and what they view as good football.

Inspiration over perspiration every time for me.

I think someone has been at the altar wine again.
God bless.

21 wins in a season where we were royally entertained holes that argument below the waterline.

How is texting that White divvy communicating with fans?

All he's doing is amplifying his profile via his control of a football club.

Communicating with fans would be to take out the time to sit and discuss his plans for the club with fan representatives...who? oh I dont know, maybe with someone from the biggest independent Everton forum in social media? Or he could give a detailed interview of what he's got in store in one of the better newspapers like the Guardian or whatever.

There's been nothing at all. That's fine if that's the way he wants to play it. But it's the quickest way to alienate a fanbase and it'll stand him no good stead for when he hits bumps in the road...as per the summer transfer fiasco when he suffered a massive desertion of goodwill
He hasn't alienated me - the Guardian ffs who supported the Iraq war - come on Dave !!

Martinez was good (originally) at winning when the pressure was off. Sadly the reality is he bottled every single big game of note over the three seasons here. Why? Because the big wins are based on solid foundations not on Tim Howard and phenomenal moments of form. They're built on players who will do the dirty work like Gueye and Bolasie. Your premature rating of them is baffling when they've done nothing but good things in blue so far.

Give up mate - he's not going to have anything said against El fraudo or his purchases - just turn up to Goodison and start enjoying the feeling again.

Dave lets settle this once and for all, Martinez did great for whatever reasons in his first year then progressively stank the gaff out .

Much like a bird you go out with seems brilliant initially then you realise she's a utter waste of the three years.

Would you look back on that one good year or would you in the end think more about the two years of strife, boredom and ultimately a failed relationship which they take you the cleaners too afterwards?

Get behind the team mate, atop trying to realise bobbies dream of a world without set pieces where possession rules the day.

Brown showed bellend, no better than Rodgers and most realise that now.

Wins ultimately and a successful team is either getting players with a winning mentality on or harder getting players to develop zone and forcing players in a comfort zone to come out and want more.

Not really Dave when you consider the two years that followed where basic defensive diligence went out the window and threw points away.

No was entertained apart from the opposition and kopites. And even you have to admit it deteriorated quite badly under Martinez where even the most loyal bobby fans saw the writing on the wall.
