I like him especially for his fast crisp passing but unfortunately he will never be a winger. He is a central/attacking midfielder but with Alcarez, Tim and Ndiaye also plying for those positions it is difficult to see us keeping him on
I agree. A lot of his troubles come from playing out of position. And he’s still done alright despite that

….thought he was more active in the top third which is a big positive. I do like the suggestion of trying to negotiate a further loan rather that a permanent deal.

Every game he's creating a really good chance or two and he's starting to get good chances himself. Need him to start putting them away though and need his teammates to put away the ones he creates.

Think if he can nick a goal he might hit a bit of form. Not sure if he’s what we need if we want to progress but can’t fault his effort.

Ideally we'd have a clone of NDiaye on the other flank but we don't. I think there's a player in Lindstrøm. A goal or assist might help for sure.

In hindsight it should have been a bit of a red flag that neither Palace (former manager and play a formation that suits “his position”) or Brentford (squad list reads like the cast of Vikings) were linked with him

He’s got great technique and effort but lacks composure so much unfortunately

Will do for this season but I wouldn’t even think about bringing him back unless we’re desperate for a backup RW and we can get him for cheap

In the last few weeks he’s had 2 solid attempts at goal where the keeper made a solid save. He’s getting to the right place and just needs keep working. It’ll come.
Needs to add a bit of horse power to it rather than placement, The lack of power is making it much easier for the keeper to get to..
