Maybe he's trying to get sacked, so he can go do his show for more elsewhere, it would not surprise me, sounds a bit petty, having a ruck because his dinner was not ready while filming.

There will be channels falling over themselves to sign him up, he's a cash cow for sure and no doubt May and Hammond will stick with him.

The show would struggle for a short while without him but it will go on and with the right presenter will go on for many years.

I don't get why for the slope incident and the truckers murdering prozzies and whatever why the editors etc didn't get into trouble for actually broadcasting it. Fair enough it's not something you say, but why didn't someone think 'actually, should probably cut that bit out'.

He's probably got creative control over the content and has proven (until now) to be pretty much untouchable. Guessing the editors and producers have little chance of telling him what is and isn't going into the show.

What amuses me most is all the 'its PC gone mad' comments on sites like the BBC, Daily Mail and so on.

I had no idea the world was so sympathetic to assault, if i ever lamp someone and they complain i can simply use the excuse 'PC GONE MAD BRO'.

If anyone in any other job punched a co worker they would be suspended and probably fired for gross misconduct... which seems perfectly reasonable tbh.
