He makes a living out of saying this kind of thing. In his time he's insulted nearly every region of the UK outside of London and also most countries in the World. Take for example his comment about Polish lorry drivers being mobile rapists !.
It's all designed to get a reaction. It's not personal. All this is from a man from Doncaster, which makes Liverpool look like Beverly Hills !.

...I'm not overly bothered what he says about Liverpool but he has an 'I'm alright Jack' attitude that I don't like. He should be looking to help those less fortunate than him but has a history of criticising them. Oh to be so perfect.
