I don't understand why we're selling again, we will have literally no backup to Lukaku, where did the Fellaini and Anichebe money go? 13m on McCarthy, a couple of mill on the loans for Barry and Lukaku... the maths don't add up

We now have at the very least £15m, and it should be closer to £20m.

If we go into February with Lukaku, Vellios and Mirallas as our striking options then you can kiss goodbye to any chance of Champions League football and probably any chance of European football full stop. It's not good enough; Lukaku has already shown he blows himself out if played too often at this stage of his career, Vellios isn't a reliable option and Mirallas has been awful all season. We need an established striker badly.

agree mate but say he has that £10 mil of the felli cash left,
he puts that away to the summer and brings in a £15 mil or so quality striker

he has £5.5 mil from jela now to bring in a striker who is better than jelavic but still allows lukaku to be the main man until the summer

Yes because the only reason anyone sells players for these days is money. You've got this one solved Sherlock.

Last year we made a 9 million loss, the club is run very badly. You just need to look at the accounts to see that.

Haha, as if we can leave money about.

There is no such player, or at least not a reliable option. The price point is too low. There's no point whatsoever in selling Jelavic unless he's bringing in a "proper" striker, otherwise he'd go with what he had to avoid squad disruption.

He'll either get a ridiculously good deal on an established player like Ba, or he'll spend £10m+ IMO. Otherwise I just don't see the point. If he spends £5m now, it's £5m off a proper sum for a proper player in July.
