We have 15-17M now when the Jelavic money can be added to the summer surplus.

Spend it wisely Roberto and we can think realistically of CL spots.
 

I reckon Martinez has someone boss lined up that we'll use Jelavic's fee and the "missing" £10m from the summer to sign, someone that'll fire us into the top 4 and push Lukaku every step of the way.

I bet that Bill is saying Bob gets to keep the Felli money, but the TV money goes to the club at the end of the season. He has to know that if Roberto can make the CL, the money will be a great investment.
 
That Lacazette looks a lot like Remy in my opinion. I've heard of him, but though he was more of a winger tbh having only seen him play twice.

Lacazette
Ba
Ramos

I'm sure Bobby will have something lined up. Any of the above plus Tadic would definitely see us challenging for champs league in May!

Great shout! Everytime Mirallas has been played up top, he has looked the business, also, sometimes he played up top at Olympiakos aswell.
 
my tactical nous is pretty much zilch (apart from being a little bit boss on fifa), so could someone explain why Mirallas couldn't potentially be our striker in this system? good finisher who can run and create his own as well as help in build up play... goes missing on the right but still seems to produce a little bit of magic, get the ball into him in the centre and who knows. get an awesome new winger in instead.

save the 20m and bid for Lukaku in the summer if thats the case..? I hope Roberto has that money available to him in jan and can push us towards top 4. Will have to wait and see.
 
Bank the Jelavic money. Buy Lukaku in the summer with Fellaini/Anichebe surplus.

Loan for some random South American that nobody has ever heard of in the January window, after a work permit appeal.

I'm a big fan of Shane Long. In my eyes one of the most intelligent strikers in the leagues. Not a prolific goalscorer, but good on so many other aspects
