Jelavic or Anichebe vs Wigan?

Depends on what you mean by 'effective'. If you mean he doesn't score as many goals, well that's a given. Still think he's better in midfield.
Like he doesn't cause as many problems in midfield than he does in attack. If he plays behind the striker he scares defenders but hardly gives Jelavic service so there is positives and negatives about playing him there.

Correct, we always control games better when he's dropped back. Prefer to see Gibson picking up the ball in front of the back four with Fellaini pushing forward.

Anichebe might not be fit enough to start, but we'll see though as Jelavic has been getting close recently.

Play the other youngster- what's his name? the one that broke through with Big Vic? Scored vs Palace..
Vince Vaughan?

Stick with the team that started against Reading (minus Jagielka obviously), but get Jelavic off and Vic on sharpish if the former is passing up chances again.

I don't think Moyes would do that mate, always play's Osman. And Fellaini isn't as effective in midfield like he is in attack.

I take you back to the DW Stadium a couple of months ago. Horror show first half, Fellaini moves back to CM, game changes in our favour.

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer to fellaini playing ACM or deeper in CM. He's affective in both and un affective in both posistions at times.

To me the key is deploying him in the right posistion in each given game. Secondly the ability to quickly change it round if not working.

Would probably agree with this, if only because Anichebe is better suited to changing a game as a sub than Jelavic.

Defo. The Jury is in on Victor: start with him and he gives you about 50% less contribution than playing him off the bench.

This, very much.

The problem isn't that Fellaini is bad in either position, the problem is we're not flexable enough at changing his position around when it's not working for him.

I'd start Jelavic. The way anichebe didnt track his man back and let him get the cross in that let reading score was just plain lazy. Least jelavic runs his socks off.

Flip a coin? If he can get his form back Jela is a better player. So do you continue banging your head against the wall hoping he comes good? I have no idea. Go with whomever looks best in training? There are reasons I'd be both happy and sad to see either of them starting right now. I'd probably stick with Jela for now. The "better as a sub" argument works against Vic too (although it's probably a bit unfair).
