"consistently done it"

Haha yeah whatever moist, maybe one day you can do an interview without sucking off one of your fave little players, or maybe even one saying how poor they have been over the last 2 years yet still regularly got picked anyway.

Or maybe not. Maybe we'll get one where you blame Jelavic for not working hard enough in training like Neville when he goes 10 games without scoring cause you keep making your team hoof long balls up to him on his own.

Whilst Cahills strolls around the pitch not scoring or getting dropped.

Maybe.

Wow. I don't think your brain properly understood what it was reading, because that's the stupidest ****ing reaction to that quote possible.

Yeah thats right.

He couldn't do an interview praising Jelavic for his impact without bringing certain players into it and saying they had consistently performed for us.

When they hadn't, just in Moists little world certain players can never do any wrong. While others get criticised for even the smallest of things.

Surprised he didn't say Jelavic needs to work on his defending more.

Cahill and Neville haven't been consistent though, to be fair. They've been gash for 18 months and two years respectively.

But his overall point -- assuming it was that Jelavic has started well, but that we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves -- was a good one.

in fairness to Moist he has constantly sang the praises of all 3 of his January signings in recent weeks. He was even quoted as saying he's looking to build the team around Jelavic.

Jelavic doesn't need praise. He is a top, top quality player and easily slotted right in as one of my favourite players, second only to Pienaar. I love his entire approach and he has been superb but sitting here waxing lyrical about him isn't the right way.
He's scored 28 goals across two clubs before going straight into the Euros. Will he have the fight, hunger, determination, energy to cope next season? Will defenders 'work him out'? Is he looking for the long term future, 4, 5 years of his career, with Everton?

That's what those players - Neville, Cahill, Hibbert, Osman - have given us. Neville has had probably his best season at Everton yet and has been superb in recent months, I have been thoroughly impressed - I don't care what anyone says, these players have given us great loyalty over the years, turning out for us in the bad times as well as the good. There will be tests ahead for Jelavic and he needs his focus to overcome them, to keep this form going.

In all honesty, he doesn't need a patronising media-love in, he knows and we know that he is quality, and continuing on quietly and confidently is the way forward

Glue?

Catch 22 with the Jel.

We want him to keep his form and goal scoring exploits BUT if he carries on at this rate we all know what will happen.....

WE'LL WIN THE FLIPPIN' LEAGUE:blink:

Already doubled his transfer value in a few months. Ssshhhh...downplay it as much as possible. We all know he's boss and so does Moyes.
