Jelavic - another striker being strangled by Moyes?

Jesus Christ!!!

Hasn't he got like 6 goals already or something?!

It's not good enough. He should have scored at least a dozen goals already. Just look at what Cisse is doing at Newcastle. Jelavic has been really poor of late, and yesterday's goal summed up his Everton career so far.

I think he will be BOSS. I just don't want him to be like Andy Johnson, getting the ball near the corner flag. Get the ball to him while he's in the box. We've already seen the result of that...6 times

all 1st touch finishes, im guna do this every time he scores until he finally scores one where he has time to think about what hes doing :) great signing, much better than i thought he would do

Apparently Davek wants Man United to win next weekend.

And Tubey too.

I always knew they were closet Mancs.

Have to agree though, wanting us to lost EVER unless it would benefit us somehow is wrong. Anybody saying that they want us to lose just because it would p*ss Liverpool off as a result really makes us look disgustingly bitter.

We're Everton FFS.

We stand on our own two feet. F*** everyone else.

And no. Jelavic will not be "ruined" by Moyes. Pathetic comments stuff coming from some. Gibson hadn't lost a game till yesterday with us FFS.

We need some ball players and wingers (who aren't cup tied or AWOL).

Its up to this fricken board to ensure we have it sorted EARLY ffs.

Just in case we ever need our own version of Aldo I would like to put MattDamons name forward now.

I'm not saying that Jelly is being ruined but I'm also not ignoring the fact that many a striker has amounted to nothing due to having no supply.

He'll be a winger from May13th, just like Bily was and Seamus is, for a defender the latter aint half clumsy in the challenge.

Oh and yes, this topic is ****ing stupid.

I'm all for raging about things which are actually relevant to the game yesterday or the general situation of the club, but this thread is about as relevant as a 'Where is Barkley' one.

You cant really argue with his record at the mo, but every striker has left Moyes a a worse player than when they arrived

maight not be a fair comment really, but I'm so wound up still I just feel like slating the ginger ballbag for anything and everything

Oh FFS lad, you say the little clip they showed on the tv coverage then. Yhey are very selective how they choose these things so they look as if they know what they are talking about (and when many of these ex pros etc dont know the offside rule!). He's scored 6 in 9 starts and looks sharp. We missed Pienaar badly and Baines was stifled yesterday FFS. He'll bag 18-20 next season.

Just asking the question. Watching him completely isolated yesterday, 30 yards from a colleague in a blue shirt got me thinking that maybe with 6-12 months Jelavic might have become yet another casualty of DMism - that horrible disease that seems to beset quality strikers as soon as they've had some time playing for Davie. There's certainly previous examples, let's hope this isn't another one eh?

Jela looked isolated when they had a spell of pressure, all sides have them, Villa had a 10 minute spell today where Man U couldnt get hold of the ball. It happens, its called defending.
Also today, I saw Drogba winning headers and even chesting the ball down in his own area helping out his team mates when Spurs were pushing up on them.

Believe it or not, players over lap, interchange positions, and can be pulled all over the pitch when not in possession.
