Had a back injury or leg injury I believe from back end of last season. He went with the England squad then went on holiday, came back to pre season and they thought he was okay. It then turned out he needed surgery so had that 2-3 weeks ago and won’t be back until international break.
That’s 100% not true. He was back in training 3/4 weeks ago

I wasn't concerned for most of the summer, but in the past week or so I've started to think we might be getting ready to sell, his absence is weird, information seems vague
Guehi is subject of transfer bids from Newcastle and is captain of Palace tomorrow.

A possible transfer would not stop Branthwaite from playing. However, nobody with any credibility is mentioning the possibility of him going to Liverpool.

Direct quote from Dyche in today’s Times:

“Any offer of a certain level would still have to be looked at by the club. We are in a better position because of player trading and how much we have lowered wages but it is not solved.
Therefore, there would still be a moment where the big people at the club get a phone call and go ‘Right, here’s the reality, we’ve been offered this’ and then it is down to them
The Powers that be are still not in a position that they go: ‘Nah, we are fine, we can start bankrolling the club and we are going to sign players’ as you can quite obviously tell”

We are being softened up bigly for a sale of a top player

Wasn’t that about Calvert Lewin?

It's a shame

Oh well bye bye Mick Keggars , we will miss you.

Wasn’t that about Calvert Lewin?

Article headline was “Everton willing to sell Calvert-Lewin, says Dyche” but as a natural pessimist I also noted what was being said (or not said) in the sentence with “Big People” in it. If the offer was acceptable, they will sell anyone to anyone

I just don't get who would sign him this summer. I think he's nailed on to go next summer but this window I can't see it happening.
