If Keane is going to make youthful (a generous descriptor) mistakes, why not play Branthwaite over him? At least there's some upside that he can improve with experience.

Looked like he’d never seen a football before at points when he was trying to play it on the grass

Needs quite a bit of work

Probably needs game time in the u23s. Unfortunately that will then hinder one of the CBs in the u23s, however he is actually younger than Astley so if we sent Astley out on loan he would actually reduce the average age of the team. Once Godfrey is available that would be my plan so we can monitor his training but he gets regular game time. I'm against a loan as he could find himself in the wilderness if he has a bad game and that could send him backwards.

He looked out of his depth at times against a poor Huddersfield.
At least he might have a lot more to come, Keane hasn't and has cost us goals already.

First game back after what you'd presume is his first surgery in football.

Needs a loan so he can play consistently but imagine forming any sort of opinion on how good he is / could be based off of last night.

Not many 19 year olds playing centre half in the Prem. Loan him out for at least another year.

keep him as far away from keane as possible, unfortunately i wouldn't trust any of our centre backs to help guide a young player through games.

Just one previous game at U23s after coming back from injury, so that’s a factor , still got a lot of learning to do but the potential is there.
