How about Nigel de Jong he is a RB and plays in midfield?

Nigel is a mate of Pienaar from his time at Ajax. He is currently playing for Hamburg, but would like a shot at the Premiership. The 23 year old plays right back or midfield. He has 19 Dutch caps!

Na, not going to happen in January unless we sign another Striker in time, we will down to 3 striker soon plus we are short on number in the midfield and he could be playing there for us during January and he won't go to Birmingham and we won't let him go to a rival.

There was rumour on Nigel de Jong he is a RB or in the in the midfield and play with Pienaar during his time with Ajax, hope it is true!

Random rumours on a couple of sites are linking us to Zenit player Arshavin - would be a dream signing but somehow doubt this one. Newcastle were supposedly after him earlier on in the season.
