If he wouldn't come last summer there's no world he'd come after another year there. He needs the stepping stone even less.

What we should to do is spend another £50m+ on a couple of youngsters and let them sit on the bench until next season when they may or may not prove to be exactly what we need.

To be fair, Moyes will think he has been adventurous enough by replacing the third goalkeeper with an outfield player. :rolleyes:

Toney is a busted flush.

He has no chance of a England World Cup spot while playing in Saudi Pub League but he is 29 year old with a £400k a week.

This is the issue even if any team could afford it.
If he comes back before he satisfies the non residency rules then he will owe 45% tax on ALL his earnings in Saudi.
