Ange Postecoglou exclusive: Tottenham boss says signing centre-back is 'priority' in January transfer window

Insultingly low bid for Branthwaite incoming?

I wonder if when he does leave if we change the MO of making him a judas before he leaves.

But probably not.
I hope he doesnt catch the 'Gordon' syndrome and develop an ego.

Our most sellable assets are Pickford Onana and Branthwaite, if we are close administration then one of these has to go in January if its to save the club.

Onana would be my choice to go, as much as i think he will become a very very good player i think he is the one we could cope without right now.

Lets hope these 777 clowns got the dough they say they have.

What an absolute mess, we are hoping 777 (Who almost all of the fan base dont want) to buy us to save us from catastrophe.

I'm still amazed there is no one else in the picture to buy us, i find that very strange unless 777 have paid a kind of exclusivity agreement with us meaning we cant talk to anyone else whilst their potential takeover is ongoing.

Would you take £40m and Nathan Ake for Branthwaite? I dont think City will spend big for a while, nor will the rest of the Sly 6, Ake is only 28 and would do a job for us alongside Tarky, that is if Branthwaite does go which I hope he doesnt.

777 are paying a huge price for us, so nobody else is coming in at that price, thats for sure.

If 777 fails, others might be in, but I find it unlikely that they will prop the club up like 777 have prior to buying.

Its an utter mess.

Damned if they do, damned if they dont.

surely they must be another group of buyers watching to see if 7777 get KBd

and obvs know all the debt etc

it’s open about it plus moshiri only
wants paying

777 the hear say it’s proper bad
so how are they affording everything?

and ( to me ) they won’t be any cash purchases in jan )

when we are up in the air

Maybe there are others waiting, but then the whole process would need to start again and it normally takes months.

what is it taking a while now
and how long is the exclusivity or whatever it’s called time scale to buy us?

if it falls through they must be others

and moshiri isn’t guna walk away and leave the asset he can make money on

Moshiri didnt did he? Not publicly anyrate. We had that Merican group, and rumoured, A N Other local group. Then from nowhere, St Moshiri pitched up.

No, we should be looking for the next Branthwaite if we sell this one, not giving top clubs big money for players they don’t really want and who don’t really want to be at Everton. Branthwaite is proving himself as a top player with us, like Stones did, Richarlison and even Lukaku to a certain extent. Gordon was the same when he was trying to establish himself.

The current team now is made up of players trying to prove their worth in Garner Mykolenko Patterson Onana McNeil etc. We’ve had far too many players evenly dropping down and seeing themselves as doing us a favour, we need to keep the hunger and point to prove in the squad. So for that reason I wouldn’t take Ake, he’s climbed the mountain, we don’t need to take him on the descent.
