Everton are being linked with interest in Fiorentina winger Alessio Cerci.

Reports from Italy this evening suggest that the Toffees are looking for a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

According to Tuttocalciomercato, Everton have already agreed personal terms with the 24-year-old; now they just have to convince the Viola to agree to his transfer. Cerci is said to be keen on moving to England; however, La Gazetta dello Sport reports that the former Italy Under-21 international is also a target for Serie A side Genoa and that his exclusion from the club’s squad for today’s game with Cagliari was a precursor to a move.

Whether it is to Everton or Cagliari should be decided this week.

He'd be an astonishing signing.

For that reason, absolutely no chance of it happening. We'll sign his one legged cousin or something.
 
I have a sneaky feeling Bily will go, Drenthe will sign a contract and we'll get Cerci on loan with an option to buy.
