The whole midfield Gomes aside is trash. Clearing out the lot is a necessary step.

No one will offer big money for Suggurdson, I actually rate him more than I did before we bought him but can’t see any top 6 wanting him and no one outside that will spend money on him.

One answer, and I suppose it depends on our finances, is to buy these young starlets and loan them straight to a team in europe for a season, where work permits are not so much of an issue. Somewhere like PSV would be ideal, building on our existing relationship with Brands. Hopefully they would perform well enough to cement their position in their national team, and a season in Holland would help bridge the quality gap and prepare them for life in the Premier.

I can certainly see us utilising other clubs for this. Primarily his Dutch connections and PSV may well be pulled into play. No lose for them either, they get a layer of quality young players on loan for a season or 2.
