Unfortunately, yes. Abysmal nowadays. Legs have gone. Take him to the glue factory with Rooney, all of our three 'experienced' centre backs, Martina, Schneiderlin, McCarthy, Bolasie, Mirallas, Besic, Lennon, Robles and Stekelenberg. None of them top half Premier League standard.

And yet 5/6 of them have all played regularly and are in the top half.

Let's see where we end up before we jump to conclusions. If the squad stays exactly like it is I am going for 13th - 16th.

I’m not jumping to conclusions, I stated they are in the top half, which they are. So clearly right now, they are top half standard.

This ^ It drives me nuts every game. I hate it when we win a throw in near our own byline, it almost always results in an opportunity for the opposition!
I think it was the Chelsea game. And we had a couple of throw ins outside their box. And Martina would just throw it to someone who would have to give it straight back, and then he would lose it.

I was thinking get a couple of defenders in the box with DCL. And let sigurdsson take the throw, then when it’s played back to him he could whip it straight into the box.

Throw ins inside their box? Now that's new

Withou major investment - outside the top 6 you would say Leicester and Palace have better sides than us at present and Burnley are like us under Moyes when we started to punch above our weight.

Moshiri doesnt understand just how much he actually needs to do to get us even near "the best of the rest" 7th spot - otherwise forget big attendances at the new ground if we stick with Fat Sam and Walsh.

I've been saying for years that we are the only professional football team that take throw ins up the line for someone to try and flick on - no matter what position on the pitch we are, but especially in our own half.

I honestly learned this in primary school, but no matter who the manager is, the Everton way is to continue with this. Drives me bonkers every game.
The crowd always goes nuts when we win a throw in by our own corner flag in a 50/50 situation, I always groan because, as you say, we just throw it straight to the opposition (off DCL's head) and then they have possession in a dangerous area of the pitch.

Disagree. The gigantic amount of luck we have had recently means we're in the top half. Not the performances of any players mentioned. Luck has run out, and we're looking down the table again.

Cull the squad. Start again.
I'd very, very, very, VERY much like to do that. Maybe keep Moshiri, but sack the rest of the board, the backroom staff (the lot of 'um), 90% of the first team and start again with all money made from sales and a little cash investment from Mosh.
