Don't worry your pretty little head about Seri, their owner turned down a Barca bid of 36m for him just last summer, we won't be paying close to that for a centre midfielder who would not be able to play alongside another midget such as Gueye and if we somehow did bid on him then bigger and wealthier teams would come in anyway, it's agents leaking our name yet again to generate actual bids from other teams

Bollocks. He was the one I was most hopeful of. I was hoping we could have sold MS to fund most of it. Barca now don't want him.
I disagree. I think him and Gueye would be perfect. Plenty of teams play with a lack of height in midfield. What we need is someone that can control the possession in that position and can take players on when pressed but I guess MS suits the kind of percentage football we are looking to play.
Shame but I suppose understandable given our manager and DOF.
It's not even because he's a right footed left back that it's affecting us as there's been a fair few down the years who have managed to do it. Problem is, he's just absolutely garbage and can't be arsed trying to bomb forward and drive with the ball. He can't be arsed defending either tbh.
He's just a rank average full back who should not have been signed and it's just another glaring mistake to a long list of mistakes when it comes to our transfer policy.
Like others have said, a left back and a striker should have been signed, sealed and delivered at 12.01am on the 1st January.
