Jan Mucha

He doesn't deserve to be dropped as soon as Howard is fit. I think that speaks volumes considering some of the reactions when we first found out he'd be getting a run in the team.

he deserves all the plaudits today for a good performance as i said earlier a pet hate is keepers who continually look to punch where clearly the best option is catching but credit given where credit is due

it wouldnt surprise me if this did happen but honestly it shouldnt but he wont be the 1st covering player under DM to be benched when the returning player is available

The only decent Jan we've had this season.

No but for me it spoke volumes about him as a person last season when Drenthe ran the length of the pitch to hug him after a goal, seems a top bloke.

Richard Wright?
Beat me to it. It's a close thing but I'd rather have Mucha than Wright.

He made some decent saves today and I felt more nervous with Howard in goal pre-Christmas ( queue American posters spitting feathers ). I can't understand how a keeper is unable to reliably kick the ball out of his hands though. But I'm nowhere as nervous about Jan as I was a few weeks ago. Feb scares the feck out of me though.
