Jamie Redknapp

I used to have no opinion on Jamie Redknapp, thought he was an inoffensive non-entity. With Sky type shock jocks now becoming more the norm, so called pundits now have to have a controversial edge. They are all looking for something to get them noticed, if they haven't got the wit to be incisive they just say something opportunistic.

If Barkley get's another five goals and another 3 more assists then that will mean he's progressed under Koeman. Statistically speaking.

The rest of his game? For me he looks neutered. Almost completely shorn of his swagger and ability to carve through the opposition.

Sorry mate you seem to have not answered my question and decided to waffle

I fully answered it. If the season ends and he beats the goals and assists he had last season then he's progressed. It looks highly unlikely to me because we dont set up in a way that gets Barkley in the danger area too often.

OK MATE X

Remember the Slippy G season and Jose was calling out all the favourable decisions the RS were getting and the media colossus that is Jamie Redknapp took him on.

He's an idiot.

He can take himself and his fugly arse of a father off the screens, that would mean everyone wins.

Oh, and yerrr Birds not fit.

Bloody hell you Fannie's, all he said was that he thinks a player he just interviewed is leaving in the summer. He's allowed to say that, it's not exactly some outrageous comment.

Footy fans are literally the most precious demographic in the world

I'm not surprised by Jamie Redknapp's comments re: young Barkley's future because he seemed to loathe EFC viscerally when he was Liverpool captain.

However, I do think he should be disciplined by Sky Sports. In willfully unsettling our best young player (after Rom), he has brought their brand into disrepute.

If you watch him week on week it's clear he has some kind of agenda against us, particularly when it comes to Barkley. Thankfully no one in the country takes anything he says seriously. He's a buffoon.

Again, I'm not surprised by this. Redknapp was at LFC for over a decade and is one of the greatest players in their history. He's supposed to have an inherent dislike of EFC.

Which should be held in check when working for a channel other than RSTV.

BTW, Sky's studio guests today were Souness and Redknapp. Both ex-RS and also ex-Spurs. Can anyone ever envisage the RS playing United and having two studio guests who had played for United and Everton?
