Their players are just as capable as ours but we have a better manager so had better tactics and we outfought them.
A part of us wanting it more is them wanting it less and they definitely didn’t want anything to do with Tarkowski did they?

So no, it didn’t win us the game, but it certainly helped more than hindered.

No, I think we have better players and the breaks went our way. We got a fortunate goal after 2 mins which increases the chances of us winning to 70% at home. They came back into it and we were hanging on for half time. We then get a goal on the break against the run of play and it's an up hill battle for them from then on. From their perspective that game will feel like the Newcastle one did to us.

This is something I think people forget, especially if they haven’t played the game to a decent level growing up. The thing you don’t get from watching on tv or playing on video games is these are real people and getting smashed in the back or hit with a crunching tackle HURTS.

At the time I couldn’t understand why Tarks would react to a tussle like that but as you say the reason became clear for the whole rest of the game. Nobody dared go near him and a decent team played out their most cowardly performance of the season. My boss is a Forest fan and said that was the worst they’ve played all season because we wanted it more all over the pitch and said Dyche moaning about Tarks instead of talking about how his team wimped out of the battle is shocking (I told him Evertonians were not shocked to hear it and he won’t be the next time too!)

OMG, they really are the most dislikable cry babies in football. They have just stopped crying about the debatable Ashley Young penalty game and now this. They got beat soundly in both games.

It’s already outrageous that they got into the Europa league ahead of Palace. They absolutely deserve Dyche to bounce them back where they belong in the Championship.
