I suppose we were very short in the CB area and that`s why Keane and Tarks were kept on. Made a very good tackle that lead to the corner for the first goal, but he had to make that tackle because he made a complete pigs ear of dealing with the Spurs player in the first place.

Garner will help Ili infinitely, and the balance in CM has to come, we are our own worst enemy at the moment. Needs change.

The hamstring end of last season is still hampering him, you recover slower the older you get and getting back to 100% isn't always possible. I wonder if he's soldiering on. Is he covering because we have few RB options (O'B) and Branthwaite is out longer term?

Imagine Keane hadn't re-signed. We'd have been in all the trouble in the world.
