He looked like he was good like 6 years ago. But could have just been one of those world cups. I didn't watch him at all before that. I know people would rightfully lose it if he pulled what he did while playing on loan at Bayern vs Real in the champions league 2 years ago.

Hasn't been special at all since that world cup. But still better than anything we've had going forward in the middle in years.

I lean towards he'll be largely underwhelming and frustrating but I can't be against it at this point. The team is so lacking.

How special does he have to be? Numbers aren't everything but he's averaging a goal or assist every 96 league minutes since that tournament. KdB for comparison is every 115 minutes.

The only question is injuries for me. Stay healthy and he can be incredible.

I think we would sell Sigurdsson if anyone would buy him.

I have to assume with the midfield players we’re looking at that he’s not going to get much game time. James presumably will be the playmaker with Allan, Gomes, Gbamin and maybe Doucoure battling it out for CM.
