With James Milner handing in a transfer request, could this be the wide man Moysie goes in for? We have previously been linked with the Newcastle star and he would fit the bill. Young, English, just the player is most likely to go for.

(without being picky, this is not actually a transfer rumour, this is where this site fails constantly. Can we not have a "Hopeful" prefix or a "Fingers crossed" prefix,. Too many supposed transfer rumours on this place that are far from being rumours, just [Poor language removed] that we generate).
 
I don't see what he'd offer us personally, very similar to what we already have. No thanks. I think he's going to Villa anyway.

Very good winger that sticks wide, places nice crosses, scores goals and runs his heart out. I rate this player very highly and he will free up Arteta to play centrally like I would love. He also sticks to the ball very well and is stronger than SWP.

He's got average pace though and his best position is on the left, cutting inside onto his right foot. He's not a byline hitter.

I want different options, SWP would offer us a different option whereas Milner wouldn't. Decent player but not what we need.
 
The [Poor language removed] have been sniffing round him too. But being that they're buying Riera I'm guessing they're not gonna be interested so It'll be just us and Villa if we do have a go

I can't find any links for it.

Edit : Vague rumour on SSN transfer clockwatch, saying linked with a move back to his old club villa. But then we have been linked with Arshavin, Moutinho, Joaquin, Riquelme, SWP etc. see my point?
