Surely thats only as he a better attacking option than J.O’B though.
In the absence of a proper right back, and when Gana is back, there’s still an argument for me as I’d rather our best players on the pitch.
Thats assuming Gana, KDH and Alcaraz stay as a triangle in the middle.

I think he'll ultimately end up at RB, he'd be absolutely quality there. Perfect modern fullback.

Once Gana is back from AFCON and Rohl is fit, if we've not signed a RB in Jan I'd play him RB for the rest of the season.

You would still class gana as better than Garner ?

For me they do different roles tbh, and I really can’t see Moyes dropping Gana when he’s available. That said KDH and Garner in the middle were great today and I’d have no problem keeping that set up, but I do think the team would be stronger with Gana, KDH, Garner and Alcaraz on the pitch together but it’s a difficult one to shoehorn them all in.
NB I’m in no way suggesting he’s a right back btw but Garner is good enough & disciplined enough to play different roles in and out of possession
