He had a good game but please let’s not get carried away. It’s great that he did well but the whole ‘it’s so obvious he’s amazing why can’t everyone be as clever as me’ thing after one game against a side who just didn’t look very good is a little bit over the top. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come but let’s just wait and see before we proclaim him as the messiah after a single game.

Yep, by the end of December some will want him sold in January.

Anyone can have a good game or two, consistency is the key, lets judge him after 10 consecutive games there.

Interesting that Tarkowski had his best game of the season having a young fast solid cb next to him.

I think we all agree Keane did really well filling in for Branthwaite and probably had his best spell in blue but last night looked a much better partnership against a pacey frontline than we’ve seen all season… I think we’d have coped with the Newcastle counter attacks better with this back line as well.

Jake should be playing as a cb , although Keane deputized serviceably , Jake is far more mobile and displays a commanding and responsive presence along with providing a solid aerial defense. It's one game but he appears to show the potential to offer something different than what we've seen from the cbs this season

Interesting seeing KDH's quote about him playing there on Saturday against Forest - saying he's sure he'll put in another dominant performance if he's in that position. Clearly it's what the players want.
