The thing about Jagielka is his left thigh.
If you look closely you'll see it is slightly more developed that the other thigh (or right thigh). There are the smooth, rippling contours of strong muscle yet there are less obvious, far more important details.
The hair is slightly sparse, giving, in my opinion, a sleek, stream-lined look. It is nicely tanned, yet still unmistakably seasoned in the harsh British weather. On occasion there is a slight ruddiness to it - I can only assume this is from a vigorous rub down - fingers scraping harshly up and down that taut limb, forcing the blood to the surface. This gives the leg a human quality, showing that it is indeed vulnerable and can be hurt the same as any other.
Despite this, if I were to proclaim a new God, I am absolutely certain I would proclaim Jagielka's left thigh as the new messiah.
