teppic

Player Valuation: £50m
i was wondering on thoughts on his career so far at the blues. back just before toffeeweb forum popped there was a good thread about him with opinion divided on whether he would be a success. i was sure he would be and leonbil i seem to remember was unsure.

it seems to me that leonbil has so far called it about right. i was expecting so much more from a player i was assured by my mate in sheffield was the real deal.

perhaps it's too early to give a proper assessment? i'd love him to come good.. so i'll be keeping tabs on him while yobo is away.

Well i like jagielka, i thought he has had 2 great games this season, westham and bolton...He hasnt really played much in the otehr matches, and when he has played he has played in midfield!, his best position is CB or RB, i think its right back, however i would prefer neville there, so play him CB. He is yet to shine, but he will - if he is played

I think he's looked out of his depth at RB and especially in midfield.

Showing some promising signs at CB , but its early days back there. Still can learn a lot from Stubbs and co and could improve in the role.

I'd still like us to snap up Simic in the jan transfer window. Need cover for Yobo.

He hasn't had a great start to his career at Everton thus far. This no doubt hasn't been helped by the continual shuffling of position, being in and out of the team.

I'm sure he realises what's required of him to be a success at the club and his versatility will come in useful. So yes he does need to improve a lot but I'm not going to write him off yet by any means.

me neither.

Didn't particularly want Moyes to buy him, but now he wears the shirt he'll get my support. Plenty of time to mature into a class defender under some excellent tutelage.

To be fair he's not really put a foot wrong in the last couple games he's played (at CB, with Lescott pushed wide left - is that right?)

I think his best position is CB he's looked a bit lost at RB. A couple of time he's lookes ok alond side yobo an lescott. i think he'll start today with yobo CB an lescott LB.

If so i think today could be the make or break of his everton carear. today is that important.

If he plays well he could get a stay their, if not with valente back think he could be on the side for a while. come on jags time to step up, were all behind you!!

yeah thats right, so jags and yobs pairing in the centre.

he got an assist for yak last week. and did he get the assist from RB versus derby?

i appreciate stats dont mean so much, i mention it because im looking to draw some highlights out of his displays.

That pairing was bloody good today, it seems like he is settling more and more, give him time.

he seems to be growing in confidence and January/Febuary will be make or break for his Everton career i think and hopefully it makes it.

he had a good game today. did not put a foot wrong.

I thought he played excellent today, great tackles, and he eased the pressure off everton with his many defensive headers form their crosses/corners. Play him at CB more often i say

He's been inconsistent to be sure but today against the Hammers, he was a rock. Made several important tackles and clear aways.

Today's game undoubtedly will do his confidence a world of good.

He will be a great signing he just needs time imagine his head must be mangled with listening to neil warnock go on for 6 years or so.
