Certainly not for the money they allegedly want for him (20m).
He's been a fairly successful loan signing though which I guess is as much as we can hope for.
I think that's the best I've seen him play for us. Wasn't afraid to take the ball, wasn't afraid to keep hold of it to take the pressure off the team, and put a great shift in.
Excellent tonight, some great touches on the ball but defensive work rate was outstanding

I don't think games like tonight are the issue. He wasn't expected to assist or score. Just get up and down the right all night and keep Diaz quiet who was their only front player to actually turn up. Aside from the post shot he did it well and he always puts a shift in.
Games like West Ham, Palace, Brighton at home where you need to be on the front foot more, he offers very little so that's where my reservations are and he just doesn't fit the recruitment model going forward either.
